Hello everyone: I’m Mirko (aka Grizzly) from Siracusa, Sicily, southern Italy.
I’m an IT tech, a youtuber and a rescue volunteer for an Italian Civil Defense Organization.
At the end of October 2021 the Eastern Coasts of Sicily were hit by a Medicane, ie a Mediterranean Hurricane; we had a lot of floodings and damages, and I was directly involved in rescue operations.
Climate change is real, is happening right now and their effects will impact our lives stronger and stronger, if we don’t take any position and start changing our behaviours and our environmental footprint.

Sono un tecnico informatico, uno youtuber e un volontario di soccorso per un'organizzazione di protezione civile italiana.
A fine ottobre 2021 le coste orientali della Sicilia sono state colpite da un Medicane, ovvero un uragano mediterraneo; abbiamo avuto molti allagamenti e danni, e io sono stato direttamente coinvolto nelle operazioni di soccorso.
Il cambiamento climatico è reale, sta accadendo proprio adesso e i suoi effetti avranno un impatto sempre più forte sulle nostre vite, se non prendiamo alcuna posizione e iniziamo a cambiare i nostri comportamenti e la nostra impronta ambientale.
